about
when I die, bury me deep, lay two speakers at my feet, put some headphones on my head and rock and roll me when I’m dead
I'm Alan Kingsbury — a musician, audio engineer, and music educator based in Beacon, New York. I came up in the Denver, Colorado DIY punk and metal scene, and it shaped everything since: writing and performing with bands, making records, and touring. For several years, I ran Haymarket Studios here in Beacon, and the work collected on this site is what I've recorded, produced, and played on. Relationships, experimentation, and creativity are what drive me.

I mix in DAW and can recall previous mixes if you or your label wants vocal up, instrumentals, acapella, stem mixes, etc.
I believe mastering should always be done by a dedicated mastering engineer and in a different space than the mix to remove any unwanted bias. Mastering engineers I enjoy working with nick kohomban & armando subero
